Developed the Medical Science of Power M Mode Transcranial Doppler (TCD) in the country. Which is highly useful for identifying clot location in stroke, intracranial arterial stenosis, emboli detection in real time, vasospam identification, cerebral vaso motor reactivity.

Original Research work of Tenecteplase in acute ischemic stroke.

One of the Principal investigator for Tenecteplase in stroke trial (Gennova Trial) conducted in India. Tenecteplase was approved by DCGI for stroke thrombolysis in India subsequent to this trial. This was one of my major contribution to be health sector in the country. The cost of stroke thrombolysis was prohibitingly high prior to the approval of Tenecteplase. Now after the approval of Tenecteplase, stroke thrombolysis has become affordable to common man, thus saving many lives & also reducing the morbidity following stroke. After the approval of Tenecteplase for stroke treatment in India stroke thrombolysis number has increased considerably
